Child Passenger Safety

Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for children age 3 to 6 and 8 to 14.  Did you know that over 85% of children are not appropriately secured when traveling in a motor vehicle?

There is a 3 out of 4 chance that your child is not as secure as you think. Parents and caregivers are urged to make sure that they are using the appropriate child safety seats and that the child safety seats are properly installed in their vehicle to prevent injuries and death amongst their children.

Monitor this page for upcoming Child Passenger Safety Check-Up Events, where certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on hand to answer questions and help you make sure you are transporting your children safely.
